Merry Christmas

Hello everyone and I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and I hope you all have/had a wonderful time with your loved ones!
I am very sorry for the lack of content and I know I promised new stuff in December.
I am at such a low when it comes to nudity. I don't want to quit this blog but I just have no real love for nudity anymore... It's all rather depressing to me personally.
I will see what I will do in the next week and I might start again in January.
I will let you know and I am sorry that I have no better news to share at this moment!

But again, Merry Christmas to everyone!

  2. Merry Christmas Xander.
I think we all have missed your nudes, and hoped you would be back soon, but again you have to do what's right for you.

  5. Dear Xander, perhaps it is time to step back and look at the nudity less seriously. No actor goes into acting because they would like to be seen naked. No film maker invests their money to make a film just to show actors naked. This can't be the primary purpose. If along the way, someone is willing to do a naked scene or appears full frontal, this is a bonus. No one owes us the nudity. Instead, we should just appreciate when it happens. This is my view anyway. You don't have to agree but you might feel less frustrated if you look at this from a different angle. You blog is great and you have done great work. I hope that you won't get too affected personally just because a few penis or butts are not shown on the big screen. Chill out and Merry Christmas.

    1. I actually agree and I have become quite chill about this entire subject.
I mean, I literally stopped posting or really caring for any nudity in the past months.
      Not much has wowed me.

My main problem used to be that almost every tv episode and movie has some female nudity. That still bothers me, but I have come to except and live with it.

But the actual problem and my personal main issue is this: Male nudity is still way inferior to female nudity.
While breasts are shown for a minute or longer and are always well-lit and everything, we can be happy if we get a glimpse of a guy's ass.
I will soon post a good example. A scene where her breasts are shown for quite a bit and his ass in return is shown for seconds, tops!

And then I ask myself, what's the point? I mean, really, what?

  7. Much as I agree with the second comment above me, it's indeed disappointing when actors / directors shy away from proper nudity. Case in point CALL ME BY YOUR NAME. The incredibly gorgeous, tall, hunky Armie Hammer (with a sexy voice to boot) shows very little in a movie about gay romance. Forget frontal, there's not even a proper butt. I do hope directors get him to be more forthcoming in future projects. Merry Christmas, Xander. You're doing great work, be back whenever.

    1. Hammer's no-nudity approach in that film was just so endearing. That's because he thinks he's a serious actor now and not just a one-hit wonder that everyone will forget about in a minute. Bless his tiny little heart.

    2. Um, as I mentioned, Armie Hammer does drop his pants (bless him!) no less than three times in the film but none of it is done well. Side/ distant/ poorly lit scenes. If I were to address the point about wanting to be taken as a serious actor, why should nudity have anything to do with that? If that were the case, would you say Kate Winslet / Ralph Fiennes haven't been serious actors? Matthew Mcconnaughey won the Oscar in 2013 even though he exposed himself in a string of films leading up to that (Paperboy, Killer Joe, Magic Mike). He still shows off his body - no qualms about it. It's got more to do with being comfortable in one's skin, in my opinion. Thank you for reading.

    3. Timothee Chalamet and Armie Hammer had in their contracts 'NO full frontal' clause! That's why there's no actual nudity in the movie! It's disgrace for fans of the book!

    4. Well, I am into asses, and even then, the nudity (a couple of ass shots) didn't do anything for me. Just pathetic.

  8. Xander, I visit your blog a lot and I really like it but the blog something that you do in your free time for free and if you're not feeling it, there's really absolutely no point in forcing yourself to go on with it.

I was in a similar situation. I had my own nudity blog on Tumblr and got quite a few followers but one day I just realised I lost interest. It was taking too much time to look up pictures and I simply burned out.

What I'm trying to say is: just leave this blog as it is, and maybe you'll come back to posting one day, maybe you won't. But please, don't feel any obligation to continue. Because you owe your visitors nothing.

Happy new year to you! :)

  9. Whether or not you decide to continue with as much or as little content as you like, I want to thank you for everything you have done. You have done so much, and been so good at it. Your followers are very, very grateful!!! Happy New Year!

  10. These are strange times we live in. There is certainly an aspect of homophobia. Also, American actors seem to have too much power (and money) which makes is almost impossible to get anyone well known to show anything. Hard to believe that showing ass is such a huge deal these days. Anway, xander -- thanks for all your hard work-- and there is certainly no crime in taking time off from your blog -- and even retiring it if it's not worth the effort to you.
